Tracking your work time

With Insightful installed, you record your hours every time you work on a project. Here are the day-to-day steps.

Recording your time

1. Launch Insightful on your device.
2. Choose your project from the list of assigned projects.
3. Select the task, if your work has a specific task to pick.
4. Start the timer. Click Start Timer when you begin working.
5. Stop the timer. Click Stop Timer when you pause, take a break, or finish.

When to run the timer

Only run the timer while working

Run the timer only while you're actively working on project tasks, and stop it whenever you step away or switch to something else. That's what keeps your payable hours accurate.
