Sign your contractor agreement with Deel

Before you can be matched with projects or receive payments, you need to sign a contractor agreement and complete identity verification through Deel, our contracting and payments platform.

This page walks you through the full process. It takes most contractors 15–20 minutes, plus any time needed for identity verification.

Before you start

Confirm that Deel operates in your country. Deel is unavailable in a handful of regions, and you won't be able to onboard from those locations. See Deel's list of supported countries.

Have the following ready. Deel may ask for some or all of these depending on your country of residence:

• Full legal name
• Residential address
• Government-issued ID (for identity verification)
• Tax information
• Payment details (bank account or supported payout method)

Step 1: Request your contract

1. Log in to SuperAnnotate using the link in your onboarding invitation email.
2. Go to Settings → Onboarding.
3. Click Send Me My Contract.

Deel will email you a contract within a few minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.

Step 2: Open the contract in Deel

1. Open the email from Deel.
2. Click Review and sign. You'll be redirected to the Deel website.
3. Either log in to your existing Deel account, or click Create a new account and select Contractor as your account type.

Important: If you're creating a new account, you must select Contractor. Selecting any other account type will block you from signing the agreement.

Step 3: Complete your Deel profile

Deel will prompt you to provide the information listed in Before you start. Fill in each field and continue when prompted.

Step 4: Review and sign the agreement

1. Open the contract document in Deel.
2. Read the agreement carefully. You can download a PDF copy for your records.
3. Click Sign to finalize the agreement.

Step 5: Verify your identity (if required)

Contractors in some countries must complete identity verification before onboarding finishes. If Deel prompts you to verify your identity, complete the verification inside Deel — do not skip this step or your onboarding will not be marked complete.

What happens next

Once your contract is signed and any required verification is complete, your Deel status will update automatically in SuperAnnotate. Continue to the next page to set up your Discord account.
