Tracking your referrals

Read this to understand the Referred candidates page — where you monitor everyone who signed up through your links and see how far they've progressed.

The Referred candidates page is where you monitor everyone who signed up through your links and see how far they've progressed.

The Referred candidates page

Open Referred candidates in the partner portal. The page header reads: "Track candidates sent through your agency links and monitor their progress." A Share referral link button in the header copies your general referral link.

Progress overview

At the top, three cards summarize your pipeline. Click a card to filter the list to that group; click again to clear.

CardMeaning
AppliedThe candidate applied to a role and is waiting to complete or finish their interview.
In ProgressThe interview is complete and the application is under manual review.
CompletedThe candidate qualified for a role or reached onboarding in the network.

The candidate list

Each referred candidate is a row with these columns (you can show/hide columns):

  • Name and Email
  • Stage, where they are in the overall hiring funnel (see below)
  • Country
  • Discord status, whether they've verified their Discord account
  • Contract status, the state of their contract setup
  • Account created, when they signed up

You can filter the list by country, stage, Discord status, contract status, and account-created date. Expand a row to see the candidate's individual job applications and their application statuses.

Understanding stages

Click the help icon next to the Stage column to open the built-in Stage guide. A candidate moves through: profile completed → ready for screening → longlisted / shortlisted → manual interview scheduled / completed → invited to onboard → onboarded in the network (the goal). A candidate can also be paused (onboarded but temporarily not working) or archived (no longer active in the hiring funnel).

Each application under a candidate also has its own status: interview pending → interview under review (or retake required) → qualified for role, or archived if the application was closed.

When does a referral count toward earnings?

Commissions are driven by what your referred candidates earn once they're onboarded and working, so "Completed" candidates are the ones that generate commission. Onboarding bonuses are recorded around onboarding milestones. See Earnings and payouts for details.

What happens next

Check in periodically. Candidates who stall at "Applied" usually still need to finish their interview, and a nudge from you can help. Once candidates are working, their activity appears on your earnings page.
