Managing your members
Your Members directory is where you keep the workers you can put on projects. This article covers adding members, inviting them to the platform, and keeping the directory organised.
Members is your organization's private directory of workers. You add your people here, then invite them to join the platform when you're ready to put them on a project. The directory is only visible to your organization.
Adding members
Select Add member at the top of the page and choose how to add them:
- Add manually. Fill in the member's details. Email, Years of experience, Native language, Expertise, and Skills are required; name, work language, highest degree, and education are optional. Expertise and skills accept several values separated by commas.
- Upload CSV. Add many people at once. Use Download example CSV to get the right format, then drop your file in. The required columns are email, yoe, expertise, skills, and native_language, and you can separate multiple values in a cell with the
|character. A file can hold up to 1,000 rows and 10 MB.
After a CSV upload, you'll see how many rows succeeded and failed, with failures grouped by reason (for example, an email that's already in your directory or already in our system).
The member pipeline
Each member moves through a stage, shown as a filter at the top of the page:
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Added to your directory, not yet invited |
| Invited | Sent a temporary password to join the platform |
| Claimed | The person has claimed their account |
| Onboarded | Fully onboarded and ready to work |
| Archived | Kept in your directory but can't be invited |
Select a stage to filter the list. The header shows how many members you're viewing.
Inviting and managing members
From a member's row you can:
- Invite a member who is still Pending. They get an email with a temporary password to join the platform. Once they've claimed their account, their email is locked and can't be changed.
- Resend invite to a member who is Invited but hasn't claimed their account yet.
- Archive a member you no longer want to invite. They stay in your directory with an archived stage.
You can also select several members at once to Invite or Archive them, or use Add to talent pool to add them to a pool on one of your active projects.
Finding people
Use the search box to find a member by name or email, or add filters such as years of experience, expertise, skills, language, education, or whether they're already in a talent pool or on a project. This makes it quick to shortlist the right people when a staffing request comes in.
What happens next
When you win a project, you'll create a pool on that project and add members to it from this directory, or import a CSV there (new emails are added to this directory too). See Winning and staffing a project.
