Completing your application and onboarding
Onboarding happens in Settings and Documents. This article covers your organization profile, signing your agreements, inviting admins, and what unlocks as you go.
You complete onboarding in two places: your Settings page (your organization profile) and your Documents page (your agreements). Once both are done, the rest of the portal unlocks.
Filling in your organization profile
Open Settings. Your changes save automatically as a draft, so you can complete it in more than one sitting. Work through the cards:
- Organization Profile. Your SP/Legal Name, HQ Country, Website, Capacity (Headcount), and Timezone.
- Contact Info. Your contact name and email are set by SME and shown read-only. You can add a Contact Phone. To change the name or email, contact your SME representative.
- Expertise & Certifications. Choose the Expertise Tags, Annotation Type, and Certifications that describe what your team can do. These help us match your organization to the right requests.
- Documents. The status of each of your agreements, with an Open Documents button once your application is submitted.
SP/Legal Name, HQ Country, Capacity (Headcount), and Timezone are required to submit. Website, contact phone, and the tags are optional but worth completing.
When the required fields are complete, the Complete Onboarding card confirms you're ready. Select Complete Onboarding to submit your application.
Inviting admins
In the Admins card on Settings, the owner can add teammates:
- Select Invite Admins.
- Enter each person's Name and Email, then Send Invite.
Each admin shows as Owner or Member, and as Invited until they claim their account. The owner can remove a member admin with the trash icon. Members can view the team list but can't invite or remove people.
Signing your agreements
Your Documents page opens once you've submitted your application. Every organization has an NDA and an MSA/SPA to sign, and your SME representative may share additional documents. An additional document that doesn't need a signature shows Shared, and you can open it with Review document.
For each document:
- When a document is ready, its status shows Ready to review.
- Select Review document to read it, or Sign and submit when you're ready to sign.
- In the signing view, place your Signature and Date on the document. Add your Printed name (required on the NDA, optional elsewhere) and an optional Title.
- Select Sign and submit.
After you sign the MSA/SPA, it shows Awaiting approval until our team approves it, after which it shows Signed. The NDA is complete as soon as you sign it.
Once you win projects, their statements of work also appear on this page under Project SOWs. See Winning and staffing a project.
Onboarding status and what unlocks
Your organization has a single status, shown at the top of Settings, that moves forward as you complete each step:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Application In Progress | You've claimed your account and are filling in your profile |
| Application Submitted | You've submitted your profile; your Documents are ready to sign |
| Ready to Review | Your agreements have been shared for you to review and sign |
| Onboarded | Profile submitted and agreements signed; the full portal is unlocked |
| On Hold | Your account is paused; contact your SME representative |
You reach Onboarded once your profile is submitted, both the NDA and MSA/SPA are signed, and our team has approved the MSA/SPA.
Until then, Staffing Requests, Projects, Members, and Invoices stay locked. If you open a locked area, you'll see a notice and a Go to Settings button. Settings is always available, and Documents opens as soon as you submit your application.
What happens next
Once you're onboarded, staffing requests can be sent to your organization. See Responding to staffing requests. To get your workers ready to invite, see Managing your members.
