The Service Partner program

Read this first if your organization has been invited as a Service Partner. It explains what the program is, how it differs from the referral program, and what your portal lets you do.

The Service Partner program is for organizations that supply talent to SME Careers projects, such as staffing vendors and BPOs. As a Service Partner, you respond to staffing requests from our team, propose your people, win projects, and staff and invoice for the work through your own partner portal.

Is this the right program for me?

SME Careers has two separate partner programs, and they use different accounts:

  • Service Partner (this guide). Your organization supplies teams of workers. You bid on staffing requests, sign a statement of work when you win, assign your people, and invoice for the work. Access is invite-only.
  • Network referrer (recruiting partner). An individual or agency that refers experts and earns a commission when they're hired. This is a different portal with its own public sign-up. See the Agency & Partner Guide.

If you were invited to supply a team, you're in the right place. If you want to refer experts for commission instead, that's the network referrer program.

How your organization is set up

A Service Partner is one organization with one or more users:

  • Owner. The main point of contact for your organization. The owner can invite and remove teammates and complete onboarding.
  • Admins. Additional teammates the owner invites. They can work in the portal but can't invite or remove other admins.

Your portal at a glance

Once you're signed in, the sidebar has these areas:

AreaWhat it's for
Staffing RequestsRequests from SME to staff, where you read the brief and send offers
ProjectsProjects you've won, where you sign the statement of work and staff the team
MembersYour private directory of workers, ready to add to projects
InvoicesEnter quantities and pricing, request review, and upload invoices
DocumentsReview and sign your agreements (NDA and MSA/SPA) and find your project SOWs

Start by getting access and signing in, then complete your onboarding so the rest of the portal unlocks.
