The screening process

What screening is

Passing the AI interview qualifies you for a role, but it's not the final step. Our team then reviews qualified candidates and prepares them to join the expert network. Most of this work happens on our side. Your job is to keep your profile accurate and respond promptly when we contact you.

The stages

Profile and CV review. Our team reviews your profile and CV against the role's requirements. This is why a complete, accurate profile matters (see Completing your profile).
A conversation with our team (for some roles). Depending on the role, we may invite you to a short interview with a member of our recruiting team. You'll receive an invitation by email if this applies to you. Attend it as you would any professional interview.

Don't miss the appointment
A missed appointment without notice can end the process.
An invitation to onboard. If screening is successful, you're invited to onboard into the expert network. From there you complete two setup steps, signing your contract through Deel and connecting Discord. Both are covered in Onboarding overview.

How long does it take?

There's no fixed timeline. It depends on the role, current demand, and how quickly each side completes its steps. You'll be notified by email whenever something needs your attention or your situation changes, so keep Application updates notifications switched on in your Preferences.

How to help it go smoothly

Keep your email in reach. Invitations and requests come by email, some with deadlines.
Keep your profile current: rate, availability, skills, and contact details.
Respond promptly when we ask you for something.

If you're not selected

Not every qualified candidate is matched to a role straight away, since openings depend on active projects. Your profile stays in our network and can be matched to future roles, and you can continue applying to other open jobs at any time.
