The SME Careers partner program

If you're weighing up whether to become an SME Careers recruiting partner, here's how the program works before you sign up.

What partners do

SME Careers connects skilled candidates ("data trainers") with paid project work, and as a recruiting partner you help us find those candidates. You share your unique referral links with people in your network. When they sign up and apply through your link, they're attributed to you, and you earn commissions and bonuses as they progress and start working.

You get a dedicated partner portal where you can:

• Browse the open positions we're actively recruiting for.
• Copy referral links — a general link, or a link for a specific role.
• Track every referred candidate's progress through our hiring pipeline.
• See your earnings, including commissions and onboarding bonuses.

How you earn

Your earnings come from your referred candidates' activity:

• Commissions, calculated from what your referred candidates earn once they're working. Your agreed commission percentage is shown read-only in Settings → Profile under "Commission rate". If the rate shown looks wrong, contact SME.
• Onboarding bonuses, recorded when referred candidates reach certain milestones.

Your agreement is the source of truth

The specific rates and bonus amounts are set in your partner agreement. Treat your agreement (and the Commission rate shown in your settings) as the source of truth.

Two ways to partner

When your partner profile is set up, it is one of two types:

The type affects how you sign your agreement and how the settings pages look ("Company profile" vs. "Contractor profile", for example), but the day-to-day referral workflow is the same.

What happens next

To join, create your partner account. See Signing up. After signing up you'll complete your profile and onboarding, then you can start sharing referral links.
