Platform announcements
From time to time, the SME Careers team posts announcements in the platform. This explains where they appear and what to do with them.
The SME Careers team occasionally posts platform announcements — short, important messages such as maintenance notices, policy updates, new features, or opportunities relevant to you.
Where they appear
Announcements show up as a banner in the platform when you're signed in. Depending on the message, an announcement may include a button that takes you to a relevant page or action.
Announcements are targeted, so you'll only see the ones meant for you. Both candidates and partners (affiliates and recruiting agencies) can receive them.
What to do
- Read it. Most announcements are informational — for example, letting you know about scheduled maintenance or a change that affects you.
- Follow the action if there is one. If the announcement has a button, selecting it takes you where you need to go.
- Some announcements are time-limited and stop showing once they expire, so act on anything that needs a response while it's visible.
If an announcement points to something that isn't working, or you're unsure whether a message is genuinely from SME Careers, contact support before acting on it.
